Yoga: Yoga for Business People - Lifetime Habit

Mr. La Forge (Yoga Trainer) suspects that because the body exercises are generally easier to implement, executives have a better chance of making a lifetime habit of them. To see if his suspicions are correct, he launched a period of five years of study of 110 middle managers and executives in companies in the United States. It follows their exercise habits and see if what the mind and body techniques stick with the program longer.

Devotees say the state of mind body exercise has a distribution in the workplace, as well.

Barry Moltz, 36, founder and CEO of International CHTech., A mail order distributor of computer hardware and software, began a year ago to yoga to the pressure of a growing company with starting a family balance. He still works in a gym and commuting to work on his bicycle, he meditates, but also in the half-lotus position for 15 or 20 minutes at night after her two young children slept.

He said most of his friends in their mid-30s, have jumped on tracks like the spirit of fitness of the body.

''I think the hardest part of running a business is that so many demands on your time. When I meditate, it really helps me relax and focus all my energy in one place,''he said. ''When I'm involved in a meeting I can be immersed in this meeting, instead of thinking about 15 other things. And people really respond when you focus on them alone.''
